Refund check was wrong amount

I,Donald B. Mcguire, recieved a refund check in the amount of 11.35dollars, It was supposed to be in the amount of 81.35dollars. Please resolve this issue ASAP! My address is 1134 Vermont Ave., Bristol, VA.24201. Also I have tried to reach someone about this problem by phone,but always got automated service on every number I was given to call, NEVER WOULD ALLOW ME TO SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON,Automatically got disconnected after the prompts,even though I waited on the line to speak to a live person about this problem!!! Correctional Billing Services - Inmate Calls Review from Mission Bend, Texas

I feel that this service is a rip off. Every time you want to add money to your account or to an inmate debit they charge $6.95. For what? I can see being charged a monthly fee but not every time you need to add money. Then if you use your debit card to add money and you add money every day, they block your *** account. This is a bunch of nonsense. They're getting rich off family members that are trying to keep in touch with their loved ones while they're incarcerated. This prison system is ridiculous. Every day they find new ways to scam people out of more and more money. It's not even about crime and paying for what you did wrong, it's all about a way to make the system money, when we as tax payers are already paying the cost of our loved ones to be housed and fed in the prison system anyway. That's why they're so against cell phones in jail because it will cut their profits and there will no longer be a need for all these rip off *** companies like securus. I've spent several thousand dollars in the last 3 months alone on just phone calls and wwe get calls where u can't hear each other, calls that are taking away because they say no third party calls allowed but there's no one else one the phone, calls that just cut off in the middle of a conversation, and all kinds of nonsense but there's nothing to be done about it. I'll be so thankful when my husband is out of the system so I won't have to deal with this nonsense anymore.

Don't do business with Securus

This Company doesn't care at all about customers. All they want is your money. When you have a problem. They will not help you. They can care less about the issue. All representatives you talk to from Securus will give you the runaround about your account. You would never get accurate information about your account. It truly is a waste of your money and time. This company they just don't block you for a low balance or unpaid bill. They will block your phone calls for other reasons that are unnecessary. Expect you to pay so much money back to them over something that is there fault. Yes something that is there fault and they won't even help. Or try to fix it for you. End of July of this year I had called to update my billing address. Sadly the rep person I was talking to didn't update my info or saved the changes to my account. My phone was blocked in the end of August and I had give them my new address again. fortunately they already sent my invoice out to the old address for the bill of against. It was retuned to them as bad billing address. Yes of course it's going to be returned because I don't live at that address anymore. So because of that they block my calls and also they switched me to a prepaid account. Now they say that I owe them 190 plus some. If they would of did there job correctly in the first place back in July. I wouldn't have to be going through this. Highly upset with this company. Just to let you know I been with this company for almost 3 years. This is how they treat there customers. Even if there in fault. They won't even help with there mistakes. All reps there are rude and unhelpful. Except for this one lady name Kim. This company is full of bs. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.

They added my brothers bill to mine because we stayed in the same house an told me I had to pay off both bills of I wanted to get calls from a inmate. But the accounts are under two different names I'm really trying to see what I need to do to sue them I'm so pissed off right now. Just because they sent you a bill does not mean you have to pay it. Let them sue you not the other way around, since it is very difficult to sue them. If they put it on your phone bill, just dispute it with the phone company.

Wrong information on their part you still have to pay a $7.59 processing fee

I agree, this company is fraudulent. After using the automatize system and placing $50.00 plus a $7.59 processing fee. I didn't feel right with the transaction and decided to contact them. I was on the line over an hour before a customer service rep took my call. After a through investigation, she explained that their service didn't cover the correctional facility that housed my relative, and it was their error and the automatize system should not have taken my money. She also informed me that a full refund was being placed on my card. The next day I contacted them and spoke to a different customer rep to inquire about my money and I was told that my $50.00 would be refunded but not the processing fee. I begin to speak to a "brick wall" when I try to explain what her co-worker told me that it was the company's error so why would you penalized me (get the hint) by keeping some of my money. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told that I couldn't because the processing fee was non-refundable and she made the finale decision. I have never experienced a company so fraudulent. My only resolution is to open up a dispute with my credit card company and hope that I receive my full refund. I was going to let the processing fee go, but it is the principal of taking advantage of people. Note: She also warned me if I file a complaint and have to use there service in the future I would be penalized (hint) by having all future calls block. I pray that I don't have to use this company and they need to be shut down immediately along with the cable company that recommend them!

Correctional billing services

I contacted this service through BCJ 920-448-****. Every thing is automated so you never speak to a live person even after holding on for more than 10 mins. After I paid for the pre-call minutes the automate tells me to speak the inmate's name. I did speak the inmate's name and the automate got the name wrong. I tried everything to correct her and there was totally no way I could correct it. All I want is the chance to correct the inmate's name! I have said everything and now I have to add at least 10 more words, so ***, here it is.

i payed my bill to correctionl billing and it still hasnt postd i spent over 160 dollars in to day to only talk maby 20 min thats crazzy i made report to the bbb as well still waiting to hear back from them mean while i cant get vcalls from my loved one in jail whats this world commeing to i have called sucrus alot in the last twodays to complain and all i hear is im sorry sir well dont be sory stop robbing ppl i pay my bill every time why block my calls what right do you have to block calls comming to my home on a phone i pay for what the ***

Yes, I been put on hold where I can't use my credit card. For no reason the money is there and every time I call no answer.

I have never spoke to one with such bad manners

I opened an account with Correctional Billing, so that I might receive phone calls from my Son. It was such a large bill each month as I paid them and also paid Verizon. I'm a 76 year old mother my husband of 56 years is 84 years old, We live on a fixed income and both are disable, therefor we have to depend on others to take us for a visit, since I use oxygen and a wheel chair this creates a hardship for anyone who is able to take us so our visits are few and far apart. After talking with my son I discovered their was another place that could help me, their name Voice for Inmates I set up an account with them and paid $99.50 this payment was through March 22, 2012. they gave me a number for my son and was instructed to set up a new account with secure-us (Correctional Billing service) paying them $50.00 This dose not include what I had paid prior. This new account was started on 8-16-11 on November 29, 2011 this account was closed with out notice. I feel just like the others The State of MD is taking advantage of the families of love one who are incarcerated

No customer service

When calling, you are on hold a min. of 20 mins before anyone answers. When you finally get a person your call is disconnected after 30 - 40 mins without completion of what you needed help with. I can't discribe the frustration of feeling of being scammed. Their website is useless and incorrect. My account say's it is blocked and I have always been a prepaid account. When I asked to show their rates & fee's in writing, I was refered to the useless website. While they were trying to locate on the web for me, I was disconnected.
